Call for Papers: RSSIA2010

The Laboratory for Institutional Analysis of Economic Reforms of State University – Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) announces the call for papers for annual Russian Summer School on Institutional Economics 2010 (RSSIA 2010). This year the main topic of RSSIA is research methods and tools in new institutional economics. RSSIA will take place in the suburbs of Moscow from 2 till 6 July 2010. The working language of the Summer School is English.

We welcome researchers, teaching staff, PhD and Master students. Priority in the selection will be given to research projects that are related to the following fields:

Economic analysis of bureaucracy
Economics of education
Economics of banking and financial markets
Industrial organization and regulation

The papers, in which game theory and contract theory tools are applied, are welcome.

RSSIA gives the opportunity to attend lectures of distinguished scholars, to present your own research and to receive the feedback from other participants and experts. This year the following experts and lecturers have agreed to participate in RSSIA: Koen Schoors (Universiteit Gent), Russell W. Pittman (Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice), Victor Lapuente (University of Gothenburg), Andrei Bremzen (New Economic School, Moscow), Maria Yudkevich (Higher School of Economics, Moscow).

The applications are to be submitted online at http://lia-hse.com. An application includes a registration form, a motivation letter and description of current research (1200 words) with a short abstract (200 words). More details about RSSIA and application procedure may be found:
